The School of Education is proud to celebrate and honor the
achievements and contributions of educators at our fifth annual
reception, which is held to commemorate National Teacher
Appreciation Day.
During the event, we will present our annual Distinguished Alumni
Award and Rising Star Award in addition to recognizing student
achievement. Honorees exemplify “doing what matters” in the field
of education.
Join us in honoring the achievements and contributions of all our
alumni by nominating one who exemplifies “doing what matters” in
the field of education. This year’s nominations (click here to
make a nomination) are due Monday, March 5, 2012.
The School of Education recognizes alumni who represent the best
of how UC Davis is doing work that matters. Honorees work to
effect positive change in schools, colleges and universities;
they serve as advocates for all learners; they focus on achieving
the best outcomes for students and on making a difference in
their lives; and they provide leadership in addressing the
greatest challenges facing educators, students and communities.
