Diane Fiddyment is a President Emeritus of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay. Before retiring in 1998, she was an allied member of the Pacific Stock Exchange (PCX). In 1979, she began working on the newly formed Options Trading Floor of the PCX. As an independent market maker, she participated in making markets in the option products of 40-50 different stocks. Diane was a very active participant at the exchange and she served on several committees including the Ethics and Business Conduct Committee and as President of the Options Floor Trading Committee. Diane also taught options seminars for investors on behalf of the PCX for the Options Industry Council.

In 2000, Diane built a primary school in the Solu Khumbu area of Nepal. In July 2000, 85 students started first grade, including 5 teenage girls who wanted the opportunity to learn to read. Today over 300 children have continued on to higher grades. After visiting Nepal with some friends, Diane and one of the friends who accompanied her decided to market some of the hand crafted items made by the people of Nepal. Together they started the internet company, Rungee Chungee Imports.

In 2007, Diane was elected to serve on the National Leadership Council (NLC) of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. As one of 10 board members representing the 375 local affiliates, she is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of nationwide plans, programs, and best practices. In January 2008, Diane was honored by the non-profit community, receiving the Heart of Marin Award for Excellence in Board Leadership for her role as President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay.

At UC Davis, she serves on the Board of Advisors for the School of Education. Diane graduated from California State University, Sacramento. She currently maintains a residence in San Anselmo, California.
