The Center for Education and Evaluation Services (CEES) is part of the School of Education’s Cooperative Research and Extension Services for Schools (CRESS) Center at the University of California, Davis (UCD).

CEES provides evaluation services to the university community, through partnerships with multi-disciplinary teams working on research and grant projects with educational components, and to regional education and community agencies.

As part of the University, CEES has access to a wide variety of technical services and staff expertise to support services ranging from complete program evaluations to development of specific evaluation tools and analysis of data.

CEES staff have expertise in survey development and administration, pre-post knowledge test development (customized for specific training programs), qualitative data collection protocols (e.g. observational protocols, interviews, etc.), quantitative data collection and analysis approaches, and evaluation design.
