SNAP Inservice

The Sierra North Arts Project (SNAP) serves as an intermediary and contractual agent between SNAP members and school districts and county offices of education to arrange inservice programs. Programs for inservice days and workshop series are designed for schools after consulting with teachers and staff so that the programs reflect the school's and county's unique settings as well as the teachers' needs and interests. Special attention is devoted to insuring that inservice series contain the program strands of the California Arts Project (TCAP). These strands include direct engagement with the artistic process, direct application to classroom teaching, reflection, leadership, and the TCAP strand that informs participants about recent project developments.

Major Program Strands
