UC Davis Mathematics Project: Inservice
School-year inservice programs consist of both short- and long-term inservice sessions coordinated through the UC Davis Mathematics Project (UCDMP) and designed to meet the needs of teachers in districts working with the Project. UCDMP Teacher-Consultants lead the workshops, drawing on their extensive experience as classroom teachers and on the work they have done as Fellows of the UCDMP Invitational Summer Institute. UCDMP Fellows also initiate and facilitate professional development activities in their own and neighboring districts. These activities include classroom demonstrations, single workshop sessions of varying lengths, two-day programs, monthly meetings, and workshop series of six to eight sessions.
