Help “JumpStart” STEM in AfterSchool
Seeking Cash or In-Kind Donations

The California AfterSchool Network (CAN), housed in the School of Education’s CRESS Center, is poised to launch the JumpStarting STEM in Out-of-School Time initiative—and that means we need materials in 11 different regions across the state.

JumpStart will provide a menu of high quality curriculum and ongoing professional development in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to over 200 statewide elementary and middle school afterschool programs, with another 100 high schools participating.

Since some of the curricula require a large amount of materials, CAN’s goal is to help supply the afterschool sites with as much as possible to get students engaged and interested in STEM on a regular basis. We greatly appreciate cash or in-kind donations (e.g., glue guns, pipe insulation, golf balls, etc.)!  Download a list of needed supplies here.
