As an ArtsBridge Scholar, you have the power and opportunity to
- Be a role model for young children
- Encourage arts education and improve curriculum in the Yolo, Sacramento, and Solano counties
- Gain teaching experience in your field of expertise or interest including theater, dance, music, poetry, painting, drawing, photography, digital media, and much more!
- Create your own innovative lesson plans & projects View project and lesson plan examples
- Receive academic credit (one unit per 10 teaching hours)
All ArtsBridge scholars are eligible for the $2000 Teaching Prize awarded every spring.
