Check-Out (High Velocity & Extended Day)
Are you open for the week of 4th of July?
All camps will be closed the week of Monday, July 1, 2019. Camps
will resume on Monday, July 8, 2019.
Do we need a camp t-shirt? How do I get one?
All camp participants are required to wear their camp T-shirt
each day of camp. We will provide one shirt per participant per
week. Additional shirts may be available for purchase while
supplies last. Our shirts come in different colors and your
camper can wear any of them regardless of which camp they’re in.
What are the lunch policies?
All campers should bring a non-perishable lunch and water to
camp, as well as snacks for the designated snack periods. Lunches
cannot be refrigerated, so send lunches that do not spoil if not
kept cold, or include a cold pack in your camper’s lunch bag.
Please mark all lunches with the camper’s first and last name.
Campers are not permitted to use the soda or vending machines.
Where do the camps take place and where is drop-off/pickup?
Academic Surge is the building where the majority of our camps
are located for the summer, but some camps spend part of their
day outside. The check-in area is located in the grassy area
directly across from Academic Surge on the UC Davis campus. More
details are available in the parent handbook.
Where can I park?
There is street parking on La Rue Road adjacent to Meyer Hall.
There is a 15-minute grace period and after that parking is
strictly enforced. We will provide you with a parking permit for
you to place on your dash board. If you plan on staying more than
15 minutes, you will need to park in lot 47 on the corner of
Bioletti and La Rue and purchase a daily visitor parking permit
Where is the Adventures in Enrichment office?
The Adventures in Enrichment Administrative Office is located
next to Academic Surge on the corner of La Rue and Bioletti Way.
You can find us in Temporary Building 206, office number 121.
Visitor parking permits are available in lot 47. Call
Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) at 530-752-8277 or
review campus parking HERE.
