Gifts to the School’s Annual Fund provide the foundation for our philanthropic program and strengthen all of the School’s activities, from offering top quality academic programs and student support to providing programs, advice and expertise to youth, community leaders, and policymakers throughout the state and nation.
We are pleased to share some of the ways our Annual Fund is making an impact this year:
- Scholarship support to PhD students like Claudia Escobar and credential students like Katelyn Guy so they can focus on conducting their research and becoming masterful teachers.
- Support for the programmatic needs of CANDEL, our EdD program that combines rigorous scholarship with an emphasis on confronting and eliminating inequities, and is designed to prepare exemplary educational leaders in schools, community colleges and other educational settings.
- Funding for the Center for Shakespeare in Diverse Classrooms so that teaching credential candidates could participate in a fellowship program to learn how to apply active learning techniques to teaching Shakespeare.
By making a gift to the School of Education Annual Fund, you help the School support our faculty and students, continue programs that have far-reaching impact throughout our community, and provide high-quality education to the next generation of teachers. Help us continue to create new opportunities for our students and faculty by giving back today. Please make your gift to the Annual Fund today.
