Ben Goldstein is a
PhD candidate in ecology at UC Berkeley. His dissertation focuses
on quantitative methods for species distribution modeling. He’s
especially interested in large-scale biodiversity data, including
participatory science, and in understanding what these data
reveal about both wildlife and human observers.
Sara Stoudt is an
applied statistician with research interests in ecology and the
communication of statistics. Stoudt received her doctorate in
statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and she
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at
Bucknell University. Follow her on Twitter (@sastoudt) and check
