The School of Education’s partner, Shakespeare’s Globe, offers wonderful online resources from their Globe Education programs. Globe Education works with schools throughout the UK and internationally to bring Shakespeare’s language, stories and characters to students of all ages and abilities. SEE IT – Download the Shakespeare’s Globe 360 app here to experience Shakespeare’s Globe as never before. Packed with interesting facts, videos and photos; the free app allows anyone in the world to explore a virtual version of the world’s most iconic theatre.
STAGE IT – Direct a Shakespeare scene at the Globe from your desktop or tablet. Staging It is an interactive film maker that allows you to understand Shakespeare’s text from a director’s point of view and virtually stage a scene at the Globe theatre.
TEACH IT – You can search, save, and organize online materials from Globe Education and Shakespeare’s Globe—or share them via social media. The teach.shakespearesglobe.com website allows teachers and family to create and organize personal libraries of favorite teaching tools and materials.
SHARE IT – Downloadable fact sheets can give context and quick facts about Shakespeare’s times and world for easy sharing as a handout—or add insight and graphics to your lectures, presentations, and discussions.
