Dean's Leadership Circle

Dean’s Leadership Circle

Overview

The Dean’s Leadership Circle brings together the School of Education’s most dedicated supporters. These members have a tremendous collective impact on education locally, regionally and nationally. Their support has been a cornerstone for the School’s success from its inception to its current status as a highly ranked institution.

Each member of the Dean’s Leadership Circle has a unique, perspective on education, as demonstrated by the wide variety of programs they support. Many members have founded or contributed to student scholarships, or have made unrestricted gifts to be directed by the Dean to areas of greatest need. Some members have underwritten faculty research on the best ways to improve reading comprehension or to build youth citizen science initiatives. Others have provided funds to connect local elementary students from underperforming schools with celebrated children’s book authors. Still others have supported unique teacher professional development programs that use lively teaching techniques to make the works of Shakespeare more accessible for all students.

Regardless, each gift is a direct and far-reaching expression of the values of the member.
