The Graduate Group in Education is committed to offering financial support to our PhD students for at least 4 years of study through employment and/or fellowships that include a monthly salary/stipend and fee remission.
Our funding offers are typically equivalent to at least 25% time employment (10 hours a week). During Academic Quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring), 25% employment provides a monthly salary/stipend of about $1,000 and includes an Educational Fee Remission. Students are also allowed to combine these employment offers to increase their monthly salary, and additional employment opportunities are also available during summer months.
For international students, please be aware that although Teaching Assistant positions provide an Educational Fee Remission, this does not include the Nonresident Tuition (NRT). Graduate Student Researcher positions do include both Fees and NRT.
