Marney Randle

Background
Marney Randle (she/her) has a professional background that is a “student affairs zigzag” with multiple touch points in higher education. She has navigated various university environments, whether it’s working on campus or traveling the world via the Semester at Sea program. As a consultant and Certified Professional Coach, Marney works with clients one-on-one and has been invited to speak in various settings on topics surrounding inclusion, personal & professional development, and wellness. The core of her work involves championing people to feel welcome, included and seen.
Leadership Roles
Marney is currently an Assistant Director in Residential Life at UC Berkeley. She serves on the Leadership Team and manages a team of professional and student staff. Marney is the Advisor for the Professional Staff Experience Committee within UC Berkeley Residential Life. She is also highly involved in Multiracial Affinity Groups and Women & Leadership spaces on a national level. Marney is a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
Research Interests
Marney is interested in exploring affinity space involvement for multiracial women administrators and the connection to sense of belonging at their campus institutions.
