Please Note: As of 3/9/18 our Single Subject Agriculture and Social Science subject areas are closed to any new applications.
Please Notes: As of 4/19/18 our Multiple Subject credential is closed to any new applications.
We are reviewing other subject areas for closure and advise that you first contact our office before applying. The office phone number is (530) 752-5887.
We recently completed a reorganization of our course schedule and the information below reflects changes resulting from this reorganization.
The teaching credential/M.A. program can be completed in less than two years. The teaching credential program begins in August and ends in June (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring quarters). Upon earning a teaching credential, students may choose to complete the M.A. in two additional part-time quarters (Fall and Winter).
A great way to learn more about the UC Davis Teacher Credential/M.A. program is by attending a Credential Information Session. Sessions are typically conducted August to June. Plan to park in Parking Lot 5 for Information Sessions!
