Overview

TJE Speakers Series

The TJE Speaker Series is a forum for individuals interested in the intersection of youth justice and education to listen to leading scholars share their research and expertise.  These interactive lectures are designed to generate discussion and debate. In October 2016, TJE gathered close to 100 students, faculty, researchers, teachers, educators, parents and community to hear about and share the importance of restorative justice.

Practitioner in Residence

Starting in 2017, TJE will host a practitioner/researcher whose work addresses racial inequities in education and community learning spaces. The Practitioner in Residence will join TJE to share with the community of researchers, educators and students effective best practices working in the community and schools.
