The UC Davis School of Education prepares you to be a highly qualified teacher who is an advocate for equity in learning for all students. We offer five single subject credentials, a multiple subject credential, and bilingual authorizations in Spanish and Mandarin.
Our credential program offers an integrated model of coursework and year-long student teaching experience, and our location allows us to place students in diverse school settings in urban, suburban, and rural school districts.
Students fluent in Spanish or Mandarin may add a bilingual authorization to their credential so they can teach in a bilingual school or dual language immersion program.
Students spend four quarters completing coursework and student teaching to earn their credential. This is then followed by two part-time quarters of coursework where students complete an inquiry project and present their findings to earn their M.A.
“I really have fond memories of the professors in the program. It has been an incredible experience and I’m so thankful for the opportunity that UC Davis has given me.”
