Access to Schools

The School of Education has professional ties with many of the schools and districts in the greater Davis-Sacramento region and beyond. This region is characterized by extraordinary social, economic and cultural diversity. Within relatively short driving distances from the Davis campus, faculty and graduate students can conduct field research in inner city schools, suburban schools, and rural schools. They also have research access to schools and classrooms serving ethnically and linguistically diverse students and to a rich variety of educational projects and programs.
