College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences
The School of Education can trace its history at UC Davis to the training of agricultural education teachers during the early years of the campus. Agricultural and Environmental Education continues to be a dynamic part of the campus with both teaching credential and doctoral programs offered through the School of Education in partnership with the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences. CA&ES is recognized as a world leader in fields such as environmental sciences, nutrition & food science, animal & plant sciences, and viticulture & enology through its 314 faculty, 5600 students, and 80 cooperative extension specialists.
