Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District California Math and Science Program (CaMSP)

This program provides professional development to third through seventh grade teachers in mathematics content and pedagogy.  It involves intensive Summer Institutes for teachers, school-year workshops, coaching, lesson study and follow-up.  CEES provides a mixed-methods evaluation using web-based surveys of teachers (treatment and control groups), paper-based surveys of  students, interviews, reflections, and analysis of secondary data. Secondary data include math content test results and student achievement data (state and district assessments).
