How aerosol particles at ground level are resuspended in the atmosphere
Student Name: Audrey Chow. UCD Department: Physics/Atmospheric Science. UCD Mentor: Thomas Cahill.
This project explores the ways that particles on the ground, particularly pollution and fine dusts, are re-suspended into the atmosphere by forces such as wind. After these particles are swept into the air, they can threaten human health when inhaled. This research study also considers detrimental effects on humans such as the development of asthma.
