Our elementary credential program prepares candidates to teach in linguistically and culturally diverse K-6 classrooms. You will work with faculty who have developed collaborative relationships with resident teachers who jointly provide guidance and mentoring throughout your year-long credential program. We also offer an optional Bilingual Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) emphasis.
The coursework during the first year is focused and intensive, enabling you to complete the courses and student-teaching component required for the Teaching Credential in three academic quarters.
