REACH IGERT (REsponding to RApid Environmental CHange)

This project creates interdisciplinary teams of graduate students to work collaboratively on an environmental problem-based research project.  Program goals are to develop students’ communication skills (particularly cross-disciplinary and to non-technical audiences), appreciation for interdisciplinary approaches, and development as scientists who can work across disciplinary borders and communicate with the general public and policy-makers about technical scientific research results and approaches.  Data collection includes graduate student interviews and reflection statements.
