Field Research and Program Evaluation

Our base in the School of Education at UC Davis provides us with significant research and evaluation capabilities. CCSP provides field research and program evaluation to community-school partnerships. Using an applied research model, we work closely with community-school partners to evaluate their work for the purpose of identifying effective change processes and best practices in the field. What we learn from the field often results in the development of useful tools, training materials, training sessions, and other resources.

We have a number of tools and documents to assist community-school partnerships with the evaluation process, including: Community Assessment Field Notes, Evaluation Guidebook, Planning for Evaluation, Data Matching, and the Comprehensive Site Self-Assessment Tool.
