The Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) provides opportunities to address the broader aspects of education such as technological advances, governmental policies and issues, social issues and philosophical controversies. 

The SCTA chapter at UC Davis provides professional support by facilitating conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities. The UC Davis chapter is dedicated to developing qualified and passionate educators, fostering positive community relationships, promoting diversity, and involvement in issues that concern education.
