15. Student Health Insurance (SHIP)

Deadline: August 1st

UC Davis automatically charges you Student Health Insurance (SHIP). If you have comparable insurance you may/should request a waiver. The online waiver portal is available!! Please note: The online waiver application is tabled “Fall” but should be used for our program which is a summer start.

If you have comparable insurance you will need to submit a request to waive SHIP no later than August 1, 2024.

If you were enrolled at UC Davis during Spring 2024, your SHIP coverage continues through summer quarter.
