Taylor Ferdinandsen

Taylor Ferdinandsen is a lecturer in the School of Education and the supervisor of the Single-Subject English Language Arts Credential Program. She undertakes this role after teaching English and ELD for six years at Vacaville High School, where she maintains a role as the EL Coordinator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Santa Clara University, and a Master’s in Education at UC Davis. For the past five years, she has worked and published with the Teachers as Learners Project, a grant program that aims to research the learning of pre-service teachers in order to help them engage students with equitable discussions in the classroom.
