School of Education’s 2021 Graduation

Overview

School of Education Spring 2021 graduates will have the opportunity to participate in both School of Education and Graduate Studies ceremonies.

  • School of Education Virtual Ceremony, Wednesday June 9, 4:00 to 5:30 pm via Zoom. This year, the School of Education will host a live virtual ceremony to recognize all of our graduates. If you are a graduating student and have not received an email, contact soe_graduation@ucdavis.edu.

    • School of Education leadership and a student speaker will make short remarks followed by graduates being recognized by program.
    • Break-out rooms will be available after the ceremony for socializing and celebrating by program.
    • Students will be mailed a graduation gift which will include a cord for credential students and a stole for master’s and doctoral students. To allow time for shipping, graduates must register by Friday, May 14.
  • UC Davis In-Person ProcessionalThursday June 10.UC Davis Graduate Studies will host a limited in-person commencement for graduate students. This ceremony provides an opportunity for graduates to walk individually across a main stage in front of a small audience of campus leaders. Eligible students will be contacted to sign up for an appointment time and may bring up to two guests. Visit the Graduate Studies website for details.
     
  • UC Davis Virtual Commencement, Friday, June 11. UC Davis will host a virtual commencement celebration event online. Each graduate will have a personalized and downloadable Class of 2021 graduation slide and celebratory videos shareable on social media. Eligible students will be contacted by the University for registration.
