Maddy Gorrell
Senior Writer
As Senior Writer, Maddy oversees content strategy and creation that promotes faculty and graduate student research. She also leads production of the monthly newsletter and collaborates with stakeholders on website changes.
Prior to joining the School of Education in 2024, Maddy served as Senior Communications Specialist for a fintech nonprofit that advocates for financial equity at the individual and systemic levels. She holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English, and she’s grateful to be working in an academic environment that’s driving change on and off campus.
