CANDEL Ed.D. Information Session Dates for 2026-27

We welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about the CANDEL Doctorate in Educational Leadership program to attend an in-person or virtual information session. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from faculty, staff, students, and alumni about their experiences with the program.

In-Person Session

Thursday, November 17, 2026 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
School of Education building, Room 174

Online Sessions

• Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will provide the link a week before the session and upon request. 
• Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. ​We will provide the link a week before the session and upon request.

Application Fee Fellowship

For the 2026-27 application cycle, CANDEL will offer a limited number of fee fellowships to cover application costs for California residents. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please contact candeledd@ucdavis.edu if you would like to be considered for a fee fellowship. Do not pay the application fee if you are requesting a fellowship. Please note that we are unable to reimburse applicants who pay the application fee themselves.
