Geoffrey Hash

Geoff is an attorney and counselor who, since 2003, has focused his efforts on workplace-related matters, including advice/counsel, litigation, negotiation, dispute resolution, investigation, training and similar services. Geoff started in “BigLaw” firms, including Brobeck and Morgan Lewis, before moving on to boutique firms and ultimately, in 2016, launching his own practice. Today, he works alongside several other attorneys and staff under the umbrella of his firm. Throughout that entire progression, he has dedicated the majority of his practice to workplace issues, across many industries and workforce sizes, assisting and advising a wide range of individuals and entities, including startup ventures, Fortune 50 companies, nonprofit organizations and federally recognized Indian tribes. He continues to provide those services in an equally wide range of contexts.

Geoff is also currently focused on building EiroBridge, a workplace dispute resolution practice, which formally launched in September 2021. When he launched EiroBridge, he didn’t even know that there was a term for what he actually envisioned and the approach he wanted to provide as an alternative. He only knew that there had to be a better way to handle workplace conflict, for the benefit of employees, employers and society as a whole, and he set out to create that structure. Through some courses at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation, he learned of “Transformative Mediation,” or the process of using conflict as a path toward improvement and (re)connection, instead of disconnection and breakdown. Though it may go against the firmly-rooted norms of today’s workplace cultures, he is more committed than ever to bringing this transformative mediation approach from academia and theory into everyday workplace conflicts.

Geoff has been around educators his entire life. His stepfather is a retired public school teacher. His mother-in-law is a retired public school teacher turned public university professor. Other family members dedicated years of their professional lives to higher education. His grandmother, though she had little formal education, was always reading and talking about what she was learning. So, it’s no surprise that Geoff is also a committed lifelong learner and supporter of educators and education at all levels. He is thrilled to be a part of this advisory board!
