COVID-19 Precautions at the School of Education

Updated May 12, 2022

Information for Visitors

The School of Education Building on the UC Davis campus is open. Because many faculty and staff continue to work hybrid schedules and are not in the building every day, we encourage you to make an appointment before visiting or to schedule a virtual meeting.

Employees and students entering this building must:

  • Be vaccinated and boosted unless they have an approved exemption.
  • Have had a negative COVID test in the past 14 days if they are vaccinated (can be taken the same day as the visit for those who do not visit campus weekly) or in the past four days if they are not vaccinated. Learn more about UC Davis COVID-19 testing requirements.
  • Complete a Daily Symptom Survey each day prior to entering the building, be approved, and be prepared to show the results if requested. The Daily Symptom Survey will not be approved if the employee or student has not had a negative COVID test within the required time period.

It is strongly recommended that all employees, students and members of the general public wear face coverings indoors.

Members of the general public must:

  • Complete a Daily Symptom Survey on the day of their visit, be approved, and be prepared to show the results if requested.
