With your help, this year’s statewide events will continue to connect people of all ages to the nature of California. Where possible, amplify local events and promote awareness of biodiversity and the actions we can all do to care for it. If you are using social media, don’t forget the hashtag #CABiodiversityDay.
Consider joining The 30 Species Challenge on iNaturalist between Sept 7th - 15th. This statewide biodiversity challenge creates a snapshot of the state’s incredible biodiversity and contributes to the California 30×30 Initiative. Join the challenge to find 30 wild species for California Biodiversity Day so that we can reach our collective goal to observe 3030 California species this year!
