School of Education Rises to 36th in the Nation
The numbers are out for 2018, and the School of Education is ranked 36th out of 265 education schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report! This moves the School up 15 rankings from last year, and is our highest ranking to date. It’s a great affirmation of the commitment and hard work of our faculty, students, staff, board and supporters.
Celebrate First UC Davis Give Day by Supporting Education
UC Davis is adding a new tradition to Picnic Day this year: Give Day.Between noon on Friday, April 21 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, the UC Davis community has a goal of inspiring as many people as possible to give to UC Davis. We hope you’ll give to the School of Education!

Credential Candidates Launch their Careers at Teacher Job Fair
On April 1st, the School of Education hosted another great annual Teacher Job Fair! More than 100 of our teaching credential and master’s degree students attended to meet representatives from 35 school districts. Districts conducted on-the-spot job interviews, and a number of students received immediate job offers. Hear stories from the participants in this new video, including student Cameron Logie, who was one of those to receive a contract offer that day.
Master’s Students Present Research
In March nearly 100 School of Education master’s degree students presented their research at the annual poster presentation in the UC Davis Conference Center. Visit the photo gallery to see students in action!
