10. Mandated Reporter Training

DEADLINE: July 1st (please take training in May/June)

The Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act requires all student teachers to complete Mandated Reporting training and pass an exam to show your understanding of these critical reporting requirements. You will need to complete the free online General Training first than School Personnel training at: http://mandatedreporterca.com to meet this requirement.

The General Training class should take 4 hours and the School Personnel Training should take 2-3 hours. Trainings should be taken in May or June (not earlier). You can take the test as many times as needed to reach a passing score. Please send in the School Personnel certificate of completion.

Email your Certificate of Completion to Student Services at: eduadvising@ucdavis.edu by July 1st.
