This Optional category covers trainings or conferences in your content area that are not on our list but you believe are relevant to supporting a student teacher. The training can fall into two timelines:
Training you are planning to take:
- Advance Approval. Please email us a summary of what the training is for advanced approval. Be sure to include website links and/or agenda.
- Advance Approval Not Needed. If you don’t want advance approval, simply complete the verification form after you have completed the training and we’ll let you know if it is not approved.
Training you have already taken:
- If you completed a training you believe helps you support a student teacher, verification form with relevant details about the training.
- Training must have been completed in the last five years.
We’ll have the training evaluated by faculty and let you know if it qualifies.
