Summer Farewells…
We said goodbye to a cracking good crop of graduate students this summer. We will seriously miss them, but are also excited to see what these aggies do in the world!
Sinead Brien. Next step on the academic train ride. After completing her Masters, and playing a key role in our youth-focused research, and the EESIP project, Sinead is heading to East Lansing Michigan to join the Calabrese Barton lab, and pursue her PhD.
Emily Harris. Emily was one of the original architects of the YCCS project, almost 4 years ago, and has been a critical team member ever since. Emily completed her PhD in June, and has taken a job with the Bechtel Foundation.
Jen Metes. For the last three years, Jen has been working with us, tirelessly and awesomely, on the YCCS project, and the COASST project. Having completed her Masters degree this summer, Jen will be headed to Consero Solutions, after an exciting summer project in Palau.
Laila Salimi and Audrey
Boochever joined the Center less than a year ago,
and immediately made themselves indispensable to our work with Public Lab. Sadly for us,
they have completed their Masters in Agricultural Resource
Economics, and are moving on at the end of the summer. Laila has
taken a position at HM Clause as a Strategic Business Analyst,
and Audrey is now an Analyst at Aspire Public Schools.
Congrats to all of them! If you’re interested in either graduate or undergraduate opportunities with the Center for Community and Citizen Science, please get in touch!
