Applying to the Upward Bound Program is a three-step process.
Step One: Acquire an Application
You may acquire an application from an Upward Bound advisor at
your school.
Students at our Shasta County schools can request an
application from the Upward Bound Advisor in the GO Center on
campus.
Step Two: Complete Your Application
Sacramento / Solano County Application
Before filling out an application, you will need to gather some
information. You should consult the Sacramento / Solano UB application checklist
(pdf) to make sure you have it all!
Shasta County Application Includes
- Your information and a short essay
- An Eligibility Verification Form to be completed and signed
by your parent/guardian
- Two recommendation forms, which need to be completed by a
teacher, coach, counselor or administrator who knows you.
Siskiyou County Application Includes
- Student information and short essay
- Parent/Guardian Eligibility Verification Form completed and
signed
- Two teacher, coach, counselor or administrator recommendation
forms
Step Three: Submit the Application
Submit your application to a UB advisor at your school.
