State and federal policymakers are increasingly focused on ensuring that financial aid for college students covers the true cost of earning a credential or degree. Responsive to these policy conversations, UC Davis researchers have conducted a new analysis of financial aid receipt in the California Community Colleges.

The infographic shows aid take-up by year, aid type and aid combination. It also includes an examination of variations by institution and by race/ethnicity, and illustrates the positive relationship between aid receipt and community college persistence and progress toward goals.
