The Business Office is one of several functional areas in the School of Education’s administrative organizational structure. Responsibilities of the Business Office include the administration of intramural and extramural funding, financial reporting and day-to-day business activities that include the following:
Business Office Manager provides advice and coordination relative to departmental operating and gift funds as well as intramural awards.
Financial Assistants serve as the direct-line representatives to the School’s faculty, student employees, and staff who are supported by all School fund sources, intramural and extramural.
Manage day-to-day business activities including purchasing, business and services contracts, travel and entertainment reimbursements, accounts payable, hiring, payroll, mail services and general supplies.
Akemi Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Davis in 2014. She brings with her an extensive knowledge of the campus from her previous work at the School of Education Student Services, Office of the Chancellor and Provost, and Design and Construction Management.
