The three-year Systems Transformation Collaborative lead
by Dr. Michael Fullan accelerates the ability of 75
schools in California districts to substantially improve student
achievement for all students. This program deepens leadership
skills at all levels to mobilize commitment and energy to achieve
shared goals with a laser-like focus on improved instruction.
Goals of the Collaborative include:
- Increasing district capacity to focus on instructional
improvement and student assessment.
- Establishing opportunities for districts to learn from each
other.
- Fostering conditions for sustainable school improvement.
The collaborative includes three phases: design, capacity
building, and sustainability, all focused on district and school
leaders and leadership within districts to support change.
The Systems Transformation Collaborative is made possible
through the generous support from a grant from the Stuart
Foundation.
