Although course offerings may change from year to year the links below will give you an overview of how you will be spending your time during the credential year.

The Student Teaching Overview is a description of when you will be spending your time in the classroom throughout the year.

• You will be student teaching throughout the entire academic year from the school’s first day of school until June when UCD’s classes end.
• We provide closely guided student teaching supervision in linguistically and ethnically diverse K-12 classrooms.
• We carefully select your student teaching placement with input from you such as which grade level and location you prefer.
• We have long-standing partnerships with area school districts; some of the school districts we work with are located in Davis, Dixon, Sacramento, West Sacramento, Vacaville, and Woodland.
